A customer placed a trial order for 210 tons of calcium nitrate. To help reduce costs, we initially arranged BBV Break bulk vessel. However, due to unexpected port restrictions on this product name, the plan was suddenly cancelled.
We quickly adapted and switched to full container shipping. Although the freight cost increased slightly, it allowed us to proceed with immediate shipment and avoid delays.
There was just one remaining challenge — 15 tons short of filling the containers. We promptly suggested the customer add 15 tons of ammonium sulfate, perfectly optimizing the load into 9 full containers.
The customer responded quickly and confirmed the adjustment. This not only ensured timely delivery, but also maximized cost efficiency.
In the end, the customer’s trust and fast decision-making were key to making the shipment smooth and successful.
